About Joy of the Teach
Joy of the Teach was started in 2020 to create materials teachers could use for virtual instruction during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
With a decade of classroom teaching experience and three young children of my own, I truly understand the importance of finding the right educational support for your child. This understanding, combined with my passion for making learning accessible and engaging, inspired me to create Joy of the Teach. We're an online educational service specializing in personalized tutoring and custom curriculum development for students in grades 3-5, designed to meet each child exactly where they are in their learning journey.
Over my years in the classroom and three years of specialized tutoring and curriculum development, I've learned that every child has their own unique path to success. This insight has become even more meaningful as I've navigated my own children's educational journeys, including supporting my child with autism. I focus on creating engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence, whether that's finding creative ways to tackle math problems or discovering the excitement in reading comprehension. My approach is built on understanding each student's individual needs and learning style, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in their learning journey.
Through personalized online tutoring and carefully crafted curriculum materials, I work alongside families to help their children thrive academically. I believe that learning should be both challenging and enjoyable, creating an environment where students feel safe to take risks and celebrate their growth. Together, we'll nurture your child's natural curiosity and develop a genuine love of learning that lasts a lifetime!
